A 10 day celebration of Queenstown's vibrant culture and community. It is one of the great winter events here in New Zealand - with numerous street parties, fireworks, international and local music, jazz, comedy, Mardi Gras, family fun and a Big Air Invitational.

Gay Ski Week
Winter 2011

Another big winter festival specifically for the gay community. 2011 showcases celebrations for the 9th annual birthday party for Gay Ski Week. Grab your mittens, snap on your goggles and get ready for the biggest gay alpine party in the southern hemisphere.

Arrowtown Autumn Festival
April 2011

Well renowned for its beautiful colours in Autumn, Arrowtown celebrates with a week-long festival. Tree-lined streets and surrounding hillsides put on a breathtaking show of golds, reds and oranges. Festivities reign in cafes and restaurants as others spend time kicking their feet through a blanket of leaves.

Since 1988 the Warbirds over Wanaka Airshow has been an incredible event down south. To date, 80,000+ people make the pilgrimage to Wanaka for a weekend of excitement. The Airshow is a biennial centre piece of Central Otago's tourist attractions and one of the world's premier Warbirds Airshows.

Southern Lakes Winter Ski Events
July - October 2011

The Southern Lakes area has some of the best skiing and snowboarding ground New Zealand has to offer. The South Island comes alive in winter and you will find many activities on the slopes. Coronet Peak, the Remarkables, Cardrona, Treble Cone and Snowpark often have events happening all season.
